Disclosure of Interest in Share Capital

On 27 October 2005 the Company received notification by Axa Investment Managers
UK Limited of 7 Newgate Street, London,  EC1A 7NX that, as at 26 October 2005,
AXA S.A., 25 Avenue Matignon, 75008 Paris and its Group Companies were
interested  in 21,076,353 ord GBP 0.01 shares. These shares are represented by a
beneficial interest of 13,941,213 shares  (representing 5.69% of the issued
share capital) and a non-beneficial interest of 7,135,140 representing 2.91% of
the  issued share capital). This notification of change is due to a decrease in
the beneficial interest holding from 6.82%  to 5.69%. The shares were held as
follows:
