Disclosure of Interest in Share Capital

On 1 July 2005 the Company received notification by Axa Investment Managers UK 
Limited of 7 Newgate Street, London, EC1A 7NX that, as at 29 June 2005, 
AXA S.A., 25 Avenue Matignon, 75008 Paris and its Group Companies were 
interested in 23,963,768 ord GBP 0.01 shares. These shares are represented by 
a beneficial interest of 16,944,749 shares (representing 6.92% of the issued 
share capital) and a non-beneficial interest of 7,019,019 representing 2.87% 
of the issued share capital). This notification of change is due to a 
decrease in the total interest holding from 10.06% to 9.76%. The shares 
were held as follows:
