The Board of Primary Health Properties PLC ("PHP") is delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Creedy as an independent non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 November 2008.  

Mark Creedy is a Chartered Surveyor.  He was Managing Director of the property fund management subsidiary of Legal and General Investment Management from September 2002 until the end of 2007 and was previously Managing Director of Chartwell Land plc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kingfisher plc from 1994 onwards. He was also a Non-Executive director of B&Q from 1998 until 2002.
Mark has extensive experience in the UK property industry and has been responsible for the creation and management of a number of sector specialist Funds during his time at Legal & General.

The Board can also confirm that there is no relevant information required to be disclosed pursuant to the Listing Rule 9.6.13R.
