Primary Health Properties PLC ("PHP" or the "Company")

PHP was informed on 29 January 2009 that Aberdeen Asset Management PLC ("Aberdeen"), acting on behalf of its fund management operating subsidiaries, is currently interested in 2,603,444 ordinary shares of 50 pence each in the capital of PHP, representing 7.75% of the issued share capital of the Company. 

Martin Gilbert (a non executive director of PHP) is Chief Executive of Aberdeen and William Hemmings (his alternate) is Head of Investment Companies.
