PRUDENTIAL APPOINTS NEW BOARD DIRECTOR
Prudential plc announced today the appointment of Roberto Mendoza as a non-
executive director. The appointment takes effect immediately.
Roberto Mendoza (54) worked at J P Morgan & Co Incorporated from 1967 until
this year, becoming vice-chairman and a director and member of the Corporate
Office. Mr Mendoza is also a non-executive director of ACE Limited, Reuters
Group plc and Vitro SA.
Sir Roger Hurn, Chairman of Prudential plc said:
'I am delighted to welcome Roberto Mendoza to Prudential's board. His
experience in finance is highly relevant to Prudential and will be very
valuable to us.'
