CONFIRMATION OF PRICING OF EGG FLOTATION
Prudential plc and Egg plc today announced the offer price for the shares of
Egg plc at 160 pence per share. This price implies a market capitalisation in
excess of £1.3 billion. Completion of the offer is expected to take place on
19 June 2000, when the ordinary shares of Egg plc are expected to be admitted
to the Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange.
Also in the Supplementary Prospectus published today, Egg has disclosed that
it has appointed Dana Cuffe as Chief Information Officer who joins from Credit
Suisse First Boston where he was Managing Director & Chief Operating Officer,
