FINANCE DIRECTOR TO RESIGN FROM PRUDENTIAL PLC
Prudential announced today that group finance director, Les Cullen, intends
to resign from the company and will be leaving in April 2000. Mr. Cullen
joined Prudential in September 1999 following a career in Black & Decker,
Grand Met and Inchcape.
Jonathan Bloomer, chief executive designate, said 'This is Les' first
experience in the financial services industry and he has decided that his
future lies elsewhere. We are now seeking a new group finance director,
most probably with experience in the life assurance/financial services
industry. Les will be staying with us for the next couple of months to help
us through our year-end work. He leaves us with our best wishes'
