Seven Letter launches ESG Practice
New service offering and senior appointments underpin PPHC's growth strategy
PPHC (AIM: PPHC), a leading bi-partisan, full-service US government affairs business, today announces the launch of an Environmental, Social and Governance ("ESG") practice, led by two new partners at its 100% owned subsidiary Seven Letter. The new service offering strengthens PPHC's capabilities within a fast-growing specialism and provides additional cross-sell opportunities across the Group.
The ESG practice will focus on developing and implementing specialist ESG strategies that align with and support existing business and reputational objectives. Scott Deitz, a 30-year corporate communications veteran and certified ESG Practitioner, has been hired to launch this new practice and support the growth of Seven Letter's corporate communications practice. He is joined by Meaghan Hohl, an accomplished public affairs professional with over 20 years of experience in the corporate, government and non-profit sectors, most recently at Fidelity Investments and the JFK Library Foundation, and an MBA in International Business and Corporate Social Responsibility.
Seven Letter is a US-based full-service strategic communications firm with offices in Washington and Boston. It creates, develops and implements strategic communications and digital engagement plans for companies, non-profits and national trade associations. The new ESG practice supplements its existing services across crisis communications, creative content development, brand and reputation management, public affairs, digital strategy and grasstops/grassroots mobilisation.
Stewart Hall, CEO of PPHC, said:
"The launch of this new practice reflects our strategy to accelerate growth by recruiting senior talent and expanding our core service offering. ESG has become an increasingly essential discipline as clients demand communications strategies that deliver on their commitments to customers, shareholders, policymakers and other stakeholders. The structure and scale of PPHC enables us to service clients with integrated communications that can address these different audiences. With this new offering, we have further strengthened our existing capabilities and created an additional opportunity to cross-sell services and grow revenues across the Group."
Erik Smith, Founding Partner and CEO of Seven Letter, commented:
"A commitment to ESG has become table-stakes for our clients - it is no longer an exception, but the rule. Establishing this practice is a natural expansion for our firm as we focus on aligning our clients' external communications with their business goals. Scott and Meaghan both know the importance of this moment in our industry, and they bring tremendous experience and talent to our team."
