'PYX Cares' is the Company's blueprint for making a meaningful difference to the communities in which it operates and achieving sustainable growth.
Oliver Hasler, PYX Resources' Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said:
"As corporates, the responsibility falls upon our collective shoulders to ensure we are doing our utmost to preserve the environment and benefit communities for generations to come. At PYX, we have long put the message of sustainability at the heart of our operations in Indonesia - whether through reforestation initiatives, protecting endangered species, unfurling COVID-19 vaccination schemes, building schools in our communities, and much more, through our 'PYX Cares' program.
"By becoming a member of the UN Global Compact initiative, which celebrates its 21st year anniversary this year, we are taking our sustainability message to a wider audience and showing the world that our own sustainability program dovetails perfectly with the goals set out by the United Nations. It is an honour for PYX to join the UN Global Compact, and I look forward to all the positive changes we can make together."
