On 27 July 2005 Rebecca Worthington, a director of Quintain, exercised share
options under the Quintain Estates and Development 1996 Executive Share Options
(No.2) Scheme over a total of 4,487 ordinary 25p shares in the Company at an
option price of £1.553 per share and 2,600 options over ordinary shares under
the 1996 Executive Share Option Scheme at £1.553 per share. She retained all
7,087 shares thereby purchased.


Following this transaction her total shareholding in Quintain now stands at
40,569.
