Directors' Interests in Shares
On 22 June 2004 Nicholas Shattock, a director of Quintain, exercised share
options under the Quintain Estates and Development 1996 Executive Share Option
(No.2) Scheme over a total of 82,352 ordinary 25p shares in Quintain, at an
option price of £1.36 per share, granted in August 1997. The options would have
lapsed in approximately one month. The balance, after tax and costs, has been
reinvested in Quintain stock.
On exercise 48,714 shares were sold immediately at a price of £4.30 per share,
which were sufficient to cover the costs of exercising all the options and of
acquiring the shares he is retaining plus his tax liability.
He retains 541,853 options granted between 1999 and 2003 at prices ranging from
£1.36 to £2.87.
On 24 June Nicholas Shattock purchased a further 7,000 ordinary shares in the
Company at £4.35 per share.
Following these transactions his total shareholding now stands at 233,861.
