        Quintain Estates and Development PLC ('Quintain'/ the 'Company')

              QUINTAIN APPOINTS MICHAEL RILEY AS CHIEF EXECUTIVE     
                    AND ADRIAN WYATT AS DEPUTY CHAIRMAN


Quintain is pleased to announce two promotions within its board:-

  • Michael Riley, formerly the Company's Deputy Chief Executive, has been
    appointed Chief Executive; and
  • Adrian Wyatt, previously Quintain's Chief Executive, has been appointed
    Deputy Chairman.


Both appointments take place with immediate effect.


Michael Riley joined Quintain in August 2001 as Deputy Chief Executive from HVB
Real Estate Capital, where he was joint Managing Director.

Adrian Wyatt founded Quintain in 1992 and has held the position of Chief
Executive since then. Formerly, he was a proprietary partner of Jones Lang
LaSalle and founder of its finance company.

Commenting, Nigel Ellis, Quintain's Chairman, said:

application of entrepreneurial and financial skills has stood the company in
very good stead, enabling it to deliver total returns ahead of the sector

confident that he and Mike, in their new roles as Deputy Chairman and Chief
