QUINTAIN APPOINTS CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Quintain is pleased to announce it has appointed James Hamilton Stubber to the
board as Chief Operating Officer with effect from 14 October 2002. As COO, he
will manage the day-to-day operational activities of the Company, with his
primary responsibilities including overseeing the investment portfolio and
running Quintain's administrative function.
As Chief Operating Officer, James Hamilton Stubber will report to Adrian Wyatt,
Quintain's Chief Executive, alongside Rebecca Worthington, Finance Director,
Edward Dugdale, the director of Q3P and Nick Shattock, the Property Director. As
previously announced, Nigel Ellis, the Chairman of Quintain, has confirmed that
he will stay on in his position.
James (48) is currently a National Director of Jones Lang LaSalle, one of the
world's leading property advisory groups, where he leads a specialised
Transaction Services team focusing on developing advisory-led transaction
businesses for the firm. He joined Jones Lang LaSalle in 1984 and was made a
partner in 1990. Between 1991 and 1998, he ran the London based Valuation
Advisory unit, comprising a total of 60 people.
James' career has encompassed a broad range of property advisory roles and he
has led a substantial number of multi-discipline teams on large complex projects
both in the UK and across Europe. He has been responsible for the regular
valuation of the portfolios of a number of property companies including MEPC,
Hammerson, Grainger Trust and Quintain, as well as providing advice to property
companies on major transactions such as large single asset/portfolio purchases,
IPO's and mergers and acquisitions.
Commenting on the appointment, Nigel Ellis, Chairman of Quintain, said:
'James has considerable property advisory experience across a wide range of
disciplines and an extensive management background with strong operational
skills. We are very pleased to welcome him to the board and believe that his
skills will be a great asset to Quintain as we continue to drive the Company's
growth.'
James Hamilton Stubber is a Director of Stubber Securities, a small family run
company. No further details remain to be disclosed as required under 16.4 of the
FSA Listing Rules.
