                               BOARD ANNOUNCEMENT


The board of Quintain announces that James Hamilton Stubber has resigned as an
executive director of the Company with immediate effect in order to pursue
business interests in Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK.


Mr Hamilton Stubber joined the board of Quintain in September 2002 and has most
recently focused on generating new business opportunities for the Company.


Nigel Ellis, Chairman of Quintain, commented:
