("Quintain" / "Company" / "Group")
DIRECTORATE CHANGE
The Board of Quintain Estates and Development announces today that, by mutual agreement, Nick Shattock has resigned from the Board and is to leave the Company on 30 June 2011 to pursue new opportunities.
Nick joined the Quintain Board in 1995 and, for the past five years, has been Deputy Chief Executive with overall responsibility for its urban regeneration business.
William Rucker, Chairman of Quintain, commented:
"On behalf of the Board, I would like to personally thank Nick for the contribution he has made over the past 16 years during which time the Company has grown from a small entrepreneurial property investment company to a significant player in urban regeneration and property fund management. Nick's contribution to our urban regeneration activities has been significant, securing our reputation as an innovative and progressive real estate business and assembling two of the most exciting schemes in London today at Wembley City and Greenwich Peninsula, as well as his previous development track record.
"We wish him every success in his future career."
Nick Shattock said:
"I am privileged to have worked for one of the most progressive real estate companies in the UK and I'm proud of my achievements. Now that the major projects I have led are being delivered, I have decided the time is right to take on fresh challenges.
"Leading the team which has built up Quintain's landholdings at Wembley City and on the Greenwich Peninsula has been enormously rewarding. We are now at a stage where the transformation of both sites is underway, and it is the right moment for me to investigate broader opportunities in the market."
Adrian Wyatt, Quintain's CEO will now lead the Company's urban regeneration activities, with Rebecca Worthington, for the time being, taking over day-to-day responsibility for the Company's interests at Greenwich Peninsula in addition to her role as Group Finance Director.
