The board of Quintain announces today that Tom Cross Brown, who has been a
non-executive director of the Company since May 2005, will be stepping down from
the Board at the Annual General Meeting to be held on 5 September 2006 as a
result of increasing commitments to his other business interests.  However, Mr
Cross Brown has agreed to act as a consultant over the next 12 months.



Nigel Ellis, Chairman of Quintain, commented:

Company during his tenure and are pleased that the Company will still benefit
from his counsel as a consultant.'
