Taube Hodson Stonex Partners Limited (THS) is a discretionary fund manager and
does not invest on its own behalf but invests on behalf of its clients (that are
large institutional funds i.e. pension funds, unit trusts). THS controls the
shares on the clients' behalf.
THS has held Quintain Estates and Development plc shares on behalf of clients
since 06/10/1997. On 12/06/01, the 5% limit was crossed and has remained above
5% since then. The current holding is 6.78%.
In accordance with the DTR transitional provisions, Quintain Estates and
Development plc should have been notified by 20 March 2007.
