Quintain Estates and Development PLC (the 'Company')
PURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES
The independent trustee of the Quintain Estates and Development PLC Employee
Benefit Trust notified the Company on 8 July 2004 that it had on 8 July 2004
purchased 100,000 ordinary 25p shares in the Company at the market price of
£4.40 per share.
Following these transactions, the independent trustee of the Quintain Estates
and Development PLC Employee Benefit Trust holds a total of 100,000 ordinary
shares.
These shares will be held in treasury against the awards made to directors in
September 2003 under the Executive Directors' Performance Share Plan, of which
the following executive directors are potential beneficiaries and are therefore
treated as having an interest: Mr Adrian Wyatt and Mr Nicholas Shattock.
