Quilter plc
Directorate Change
Quilter plc today announces that Rosie Harris, a Non-executive Director of Quilter plc and Chair of the Board Risk Committee has informed the Board that she does not intend to stand for re-election at the 2022 AGM in May 2022 and it has therefore been mutually agreed that she will step down from the Quilter plc Board with effect from 30 April 2022. Rosie joined the Board in April 2017 and has served as Chair of our Board Risk Committee from appointment. Rosie has recently taken on an additional external appointment and the meeting timetable for that new appointment has in practice proven to be incompatible with the timetabling of Quilter Board and Committee meetings.
An external search to identify a permanent successor to Chair the Board Risk Committee will commence immediately. George Reid, Chair of the Quilter Board Audit Committee who has served on the Board Risk Committee since 2017, has agreed to Chair the Board Risk Committee from 1 May 2022 until Rosie's permanent successor is in place.
The Quilter Board are extremely grateful to Rosie for her exemplary service to Quilter plc.
Glyn Jones, Quilter Chair, said, "On behalf of the Board and the Company, I would like to express our gratitude to Rosie for the enormous energy, commitment, and time she has given to overseeing the implementation of the Quilter risk management framework which has served us well since the Company's Listing in 2018. Rosie has also made a significant contribution to the Board's deliberations during a period of significant change at Quilter."
