Quilter plc Board composition

Quilter plc ("the Company") announces that Glyn Jones, Chair of Quilter plc, will not seek re-election at the Company's Annual General Meeting ("AGM") on 12 May 2022 in order to pursue other interests, and will step down as Chair and as a Director of the Company at the conclusion of the AGM. The search for a successor to Mr Jones as Chair of Quilter plc is progressing well and an announcement on the appointment of the new Chair will be published to the market in due course.

The Quilter plc Board has appointed Ruth Markland, who is currently Senior Independent Director, to be Interim Chair of Quilter plc, subject to regulatory approval, with effect from the conclusion of the Quilter AGM.

Tim Breedon, an existing Non-executive Director of the Company, will assume the role of Senior Independent Director for the duration of Ruth Markland's period as Interim Chair of Quilter plc.

There are no other details that are required to be disclosed in respect of these appointments under Paragraph 9.6.11 of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority save  as disclosed in this announcement.
