LONDON, ENGLAND and BAIE VERTE, NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR--(Marketwire - Oct. 2, 2007) - Rambler Metals and
Mining plc (TSX VENTURE:RAB)(AIM:RMM) is pleased to announce drill intersections from its ongoing surface

/T/
Ming Footwall Zone
RM07-08f was drilled in the heart of the Ming Footwall Zone (MFZ) some 400m down plunge of the old mining face.
The significant widths and grades in this hole will play an important role as Rambler embarks on its NI43-101
reserve resource calculation to be published in 2008. Additional holes are planned in this area with results
expected to be released in the coming weeks.

RM07-20a was planned to target the 1807 zone 25 metres across strike of RM07-20; RM07-20b's target was 50
metres up plunge and to the west of RM07-20. Although both holes intersected stringer mineralization over a
metre in length, neither hole graded above 1% copper. For more information on these 2 holes and a complete
listing of all RMM drill intersections, corresponding maps, figures and NI43-101 compliance information please

Dewatering and Underground Delineation Program
The dewatering of the old mine continues and to date 83 million US gallons of water have been pumped and
processed by the water treatment plant. Water levels are currently at the 600 level and the first underground
drill station will be on the 740 level. The ground conditions within the mine remain good and the underground
crews continue to install service including air, water and electrical power back into the mine.
George Ogilvie, Vice President and COO stated:
"We are pleased to announce continued drilling results at the heart of the Ming Footwall Zone with strong
grades of copper at multiple zones of over 2%. The dewatering programme of the old mine is progressing at a
steady rate and we remain on track to begin our underground delineation drilling program in 2007 Q4."

lengths. Analytical results for Rambler core in this press release were determined at Eastern Analytical,
Springdale, NL. Samples are then shipped by courier to Activation Laboratories Ltd., Ancaster Ontario, where a
34 element ICP analysis and gold fire assay are performed.
