Lower Footwall Zone
The underground drill delineation program is progressing well and Rambler is pleased with the drill results to
date. The continued success of this program will have a significant impact on both the size and grade of the
footwall resource which will in turn strengthen the economics of this already extensive zone. Over the coming
months Rambler plans to refine the 4,000 tpd mining rate envisaged in the recently completed scoping report
through its pre-feasibility engineering study.
Larry Pilgrim, Chief Geologist and independent consultant commented;
"We are very pleased that Rambler now has two underground drill rigs on site especially at a time when the
mining industry is facing increased demands for such equipment. These drills are now in place, testing both the
footwall stringer zone and the strike extension of the Ming Massive sulphide horizon. Rambler is confident that
the results of these drill programs will continue to build on the resource estimate outlined in the NI 43-101
Report released on June 16th 2008."
A complete listing of all drill highlights for this release can be found in Appendix 1. For more information on

About the Company
Rambler Metals and Mining plc ("Rambler") was established to invest in the base metal sector in politically
stable jurisdictions. Its principal project is the Rambler copper-gold property, located on the Baie Verte
Peninsula of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Rambler acquired the property from Altius Minerals Corporation
in exchange for ordinary shares during 2005.
The Rambler property contains the former producing Ming and Ming West copper-gold mines. The Ming Mine last
operated in 1982 and the Ming West Mine in 1996. Mining of the Ming Mine ceased when workings reached a
neighbouring property boundary. Rambler Metals and Mining acquired the property after it had been successfully
consolidated.
The Ming and Ming West Mines exploited relatively narrow zones of high-grade copper and gold mineralization.
Sections of this mineralization remain in the lower part of the Ming Mine and it is open to depth. Rambler is
dewatering the Ming Mine concurrently with an underground drill delineation program to improve the resource
dataset and to prepare the mine for the next phase of pre-development. The Lower Footwall Zone is located
approximately 100 metres below and generally parallel to the historic Ming Mine workings.
Larry Pilgrim, P.Geo. is the Qualified Person responsible for the technical content of this release and has
reviewed and approved it accordingly. Mr. Pilgrim is an independent consultant contracted by Rambler Metals and
Mining plc.
All tonnes are dry metric tonnes.
Drill intercepts quoted are core lengths; true widths for the Lower Footwall Zone are estimated to be in excess
of 60-90% of the intersected core lengths. Analytical results for Rambler core are first determined at Eastern
Analytical, Springdale, NL. Samples are then shipped by courier to Activation Laboratories Ltd.("Actlabs'),
Ancaster Ontario, where a 34 element ICP analysis and gold fire assay are performed. The results presented in
this release are based on assay data from Eastern Analytical and Actlabs'. ActLabs' data, being the accredited
lab for this project, will supersede all other results.
National Instrument 43-101 compliance information regarding sampling and analytical protocols pertaining to the
Rambler Project can be accessed via the following link: http://www.ramblermines.com.
