                               DIRECTORS' DEALING



The Rank Group Plc ('the Company') announces that on 2 October 2006 it granted
options over its Ordinary shares, pursuant to the Company's 2005 Share Savings
Scheme approved by shareholders at the annual general meeting on 27 April 2005,
to the following directors:

Ian Burke             5,053
Peter Gill            8,756



The Company also granted options to the following senior executives who are
classified as persons discharging managing responsibility under DR 3.1.4R(1)(a):

The options, which have an exercise price of 187p, will be exercisable between 1
December 2009 and 31 May 2012.

On 2 October 2006, Peter Gill also cancelled an option over 7,155 shares under
the Company's 2005 Share Savings Scheme, which had been granted on 4 October
2005 with an exercise price of 225p.
