Director's Share Purchase

On 2 November 2007 Peter Gill, an Executive Director, notified the Company
(under the obligations imposed by paragraph DTR 3.1.2 R of the FSA's Disclosure
& Transparency Rules) that, on 2 November 2007, he purchased 10,000 Ordinary 
13 8/9p Shares in The Rank Group Plc at a price of 95.25p per share, thereby
increasing his notifiable beneficial share interests to 17,200 Ordinary Shares,
representing 0.004% of the total number of shares currently in issue.
