Director's share purchase

On 4 March 2009 Ian Burke, an executive director, notified the Company (under the obligations imposed by paragraph DTR 3.1.2 R of the FSA's Disclosure & Transparency Rules) that, on 4 March 2009, he purchased 85,000 ordinary 13 8/9p shares in Rank at a price of 59.75p per share, thereby increasing his notifiable beneficial share interest to 160,553 ordinary shares, representing 0.04% of the total number of shares currently in issue.
