Director's share purchase

On 6 March 2009 Paddy Gallagher, an executive director, notified the Company (under the obligations imposed by paragraph DTR 3.1.2 R of the FSA's Disclosure & Transparency Rules) that, on 6 March 2009, he purchased 160,000 ordinary 13 8/9p shares in Rank at an average price of 60.04p per share. His total notifiable beneficial interest in Rank's shares is 160,000 ordinary shares, representing 0.04% of the total number of shares currently in issue.
