Rank Group PLC 26 March 2007 The Rank Group Plc ('Rank') - Notification of Directors' Interests in Shares Rank Group Employee Benefit Trust i) On 26 March 2007 the Company received notification from the Trustees of the Rank Group Employee Benefit Trust (the 'Trust') that, on 19 March 2007, the Trust sold its holding of 202,852 Ordinary 10p Shares in The Rank Group Plc at an average price of 238p per share, thereby reducing its notifiable share interests to nil. As the Trust normally waives dividends on its shareholding in Rank it would not have been entitled to the Special Dividend payment of 65p per Ordinary 10p Share which is payable on 9 April 2007. ii) On 26 March 2007 the Company received notification from the Trustees of the Rank Group Employee Benefit Trust (the 'Trust') that, on 26 March 2007, the Trust bought 236,900 Ordinary 13 8/9p Shares in The Rank Group Plc at an average price of 201p per share, thereby increasing its notifiable share interests to 236,900 new Ordinary Shares (representing 0.06% of the present issued share capital). By virtue of the Trust Deed, the Executive Directors of The Rank Group Plc are deemed to be beneficially interested in all Rank shares held by the Trust.
