                                  Board Change


The Rank Group Plc ('Rank' or 'the Group') announces that David Boden, an
executive director of Rank and managing director of its gaming division will
step down from the board with immediate effect and will leave the Group at the
end of May 2006. Ian Burke, chief executive of Rank, now assumes direct
responsibility for the management of the Group's gaming division.

Alun Cathcart, chairman of Rank, said:

'On behalf of the Board I would like to thank David for the contribution he has
made to Rank over the years in helping to build its strong positions in the UK
bingo and casino markets. We wish him every success in the future.'
