On 2 May 2008, the Company received notification from The Royal Bank of Scotland
Group plc (under the obligations imposed by Section DTR5 of the FSA's Disclosure
& Transparency Rules) that, as at 1 May 2008, ABN AMRO Bank N.V. ceased to have
a notifiable interest in the voting rights attached to the Ordinary 13 8/9p
shares of The Rank Group Plc.
