- Notification of Major Interest in Shares

1) Morgan Stanley

On 21 November 2007, the Company received notification from Morgan Stanley
(under the obligations imposed by Section DTR5 of the FSA's Disclosure &
Transparency Rules) that, as at 19 November 2007, Morgan Stanley Securities
Limited ceased to have a notifiable interest (i.e. its aggregate shareholding is
below 3%) in the voting rights attached to the Ordinary 13 8/9p shares of The
Rank Group Plc.



2) Credit Suisse

On 22 November 2007, the Company received notification from Credit Suisse (under
the obligations imposed by Section DTR5 of the FSA's Disclosure & Transparency
Rules) that, as at 19 November 2007, Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited
had a notifiable interest in the voting rights attached to 19,135,031 Ordinary
13 8/9p shares of The Rank Group Plc as shown in the Schedule below,
representing 4.89% of the total voting rights in The Rank Group Plc.
