On 9 October 2008, the Company received a notification from FIL Limited, under the obligations imposed by the FSA's Disclosure & Transparency Rules that, as at 8 October 2008, it had a notifiable direct interest in the voting rights attached to 19,383,829 Ordinary 13 8/9p shares of The Rank Group Plc ('Rank') representing 4.96% of the total voting rights in Rank.
