the obligations imposed by Sections 198 to 202 of the Companies Act 1985 that,
as at 21 November 2006, Legal & General Group Plc had a notifiable interest in
20,761,125 Ordinary 10p shares of The Rank Group Plc (registered, or to be
registered in the names set out in the Schedule below) representing 3.83% of the
issued share capital of The Rank Group Plc.
