- Notification of Major Interest in Shares
On 4 December 2006, the Company received notification from Aviva plc and its
subsidiaries, under the obligations imposed by Sections 198 to 202 of the
Companies Act 1985 that, as at 30 November 2006, it had a notifiable interest in
20,886,925 Ordinary 10p shares of The Rank Group Plc (registered, or to be
registered in the names set out in the Schedule below) representing 3.85% of the
issued share capital of The Rank Group Plc.
