RANK GROUP PLC GRANTED LONDON HARD ROCK CASINO LICENCE
The Rank Group Plc is pleased to announce that it has been granted a new
licence for a Hard Rock Casino in London's West End.
The London Hard Rock Casino will be located in the former Fashion Cafe
premises just off Leicester Square. Occupying 18,000 square feet, it will
offer 15 traditional casino tables, 24 positions of electronic roulette, 25
fruit machines, bars and a diner. It is scheduled to open towards the end of
2002, and will follow the opening of the Manchester Hard Rock Casino in summer
2002. The development costs of the two casinos will be around £7m total.
