The Rank Group Plc

Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and to the London
Stock Exchange plc for a total of 1,296,000,000 new Ordinary Shares of 13 8/9
pence each in The Rank Group Plc to be admitted to the Official List following
an 18 for 25 share consolidation.

It is expected that admission will be granted on 23 March 2007 and trading will
commence on 26 March 2007.
