- Notification of Voting Rights and Capital - Update 10

Consequent upon the recent allotment of shares under the Company's Employee
Share Option Schemes, the Issued Share Capital of The Rank Group Plc has now
increased to 390,526,572 Ordinary 13 8/9p Shares with voting rights.

No shares are held in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in The Rank Group Plc as at 30
September 2007 is 390,526,572.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or a change to their interest in, The Rank Group Plc under the
FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
