Notification of a Transaction by a Director and Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility

On 21 May 2009 a director and PDMR, Ian Buckley, sold 1,000 Rathbone Brothers Plc ordinary shares at £8.545. 1,000 shares were subsequently purchased for his Self Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) account at £8.555. 

The shares are registered in the name of Rathbone Nominees Limited and following these transactions there is no change to his declarable beneficial holding of 31,133 shares (0.072% of the issued share capital).
