Notification of a Transaction by a Director and Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility

On 9 November 2009 a director and PDMR, Richard Lanyon and his spouse sold a total of 2,320 Rathbone Brothers Plc ordinary shares at £8.70. 2,320 shares were subsequently purchased for their Individual Saving Accounts (ISAs) at £8.71. 

The shares are registered in the name of Rathbone Nominees Limited and following these transactions there is no change to his declarable beneficial holding of 211,864 shares (0.491% of the issued share capital).
