Key appointment in Rautaruukki's Corporate Supp...

Petteri Laaksomo (40) MSc (Tech) has been appointed Senior Vice
President, Supply Chain Management at Ruukki as of 22 September 2008.
He will also be a member of Ruukki's Extended Management Board
responsible for corporate logistics, sourcing and operations
development.


Before joining Ruukki, Petteri Laaksomo had a long international
career at Elcoteq where he was responsible for global manufacturing
(9 plants), supply chain management, engineering services and
sourcing.

and the supply chain in a very fast and demanding industry will be
very valuable in supporting the divisions' daily operations and
efficiency development", comments Marko Somerma, Chief Strategy
Officer of  Ruukki.

Petteri Laaksomo will be located in Helsinki and report to Marko
Somerma.
