Rautaruukki's annual Capital Market Day for investors and analysts
will take place in Vaasa, Finland on 1-2 October 2008. Topics covered
this year will include the company's growth segments in its selected
business areas, actions to boost operations within the divisions and
the company's latest technology solutions.


Rautaruukki's President & CEO Sakari Tamminen, CFO Mikko Hietanen and
division presidents Saku Sipola (Ruukki Construction), Tommi Matomäki
(Ruukki Engineering) and Olavi Huhtala (Ruukki Metals) will give
presentations at the event.
