Ruukki continues to be listed in two Dow Jones Sustainability
Indexes: DJSI World and DJSI STOXX. The indexes include the top
companies that are committed to sustainable development.
As last year, Ruukki ranks among the world's seven best steel
companies on the DJSI World list. There are 317 components from 27
different countries included in DJSI World and 154 components from 14
European countries in DJSI STOXX. Six Finnish companies are in the
DJSI World and seven Finnish companies in the DJSI STOXX.
"Ruukki is now included on DJSI World for the second year running and
the European DJSI STOXX for the third year running. We have
maintained a sustained focus on improvement in areas such as
know-how, safety and environmental management. Our response to the
challenges of climate change rises from enhancing the energy

The Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes have been measuring efforts
within the corporate sector to improve sustainability since 1999.

by an independent assessment party, SAM Research AG. Index companies
