At a board meeting held today payment of interest and dividend due for the
period ending 30 June 2001 was authorised in respect of the 9 per cent
cumulative preference shares of this company.
Payment will be made 30 June 2001 to holders of preference shares on the
register at the close of business on 1 June 2001.
