Acquisition of TotallyLegal.com Limited
Trinity Mirror plc is pleased to announce the acquisition of TotallyLegal.com
Limited, the owner of TotallyLegal.com, the UK's leading online recruitment site
for the legal profession, and TotallyFinancial.com, a leading online recruitment
site serving the finance sector. The total consideration for this acquisition is
£11.8 million in cash.
The acquisition represents the latest stage of Trinity Mirror's strategy to
develop its digital and online businesses through organic growth and appropriate
acquisitions. These sites will join the Group's portfolio of successful online
recruitment businesses which already includes sites such as SecsintheCity,
GAAPweb, hotonline and its stake in the Fish4Jobs joint venture.
Commenting on the acquisition, Sly Bailey, said: 'this is the latest stage in
our strategy of developing our digital businesses. TotallyLegal is Britain's
leading website for legal recruitment and together with TotallyFinancial will
complement our existing suite of professional recruitment sites perfectly.'
