GENERIC ANNOUNCEMENT

The Company has today received notice that UBS Asset Management Limited,
Phillips and Drew Life Limited and UBS Asset Management International Limited
have an interest in 32,173,988 (previously 31,903,937) ordinary 10p shares of
the Company. This represents 11.06% (10.96%) of the issued share capital of
the company.
