GENERIC ANNOUNCEMENT



The Company has today received notification that FMR Corp. and its direct and
indirect subsidiaries and Fidelity International Limited and its direct and
indirect subsidiaries, have non-beneficial interests in 26,502,738 (previously
23,383,549) Trinity Mirror Ordinary Shares, representing 9.11% (previously
8.03%) of the issued share capital.
