Trinity Mirror Investment in Local World

Further to Trinity Mirror's acquisition of an 20% equity interest in Local World Holdings Limited, which was completed with effect from 30 December 2012, Trinity Mirror plc confirms that The Office of Fair Trading has given unconditional clearance to this investment and Local World Holdings Limited's acquisition of the regional publishing assets of Northcliffe Media Limited and Iliffe News & Media Limited.
