John Hawkins, who has been a director of Real Estate Credit Investments PCC Limited since its IPO in December 2005, has asked to retire from the board with effect from the end of the current financial year on March 31 2013.

Tom Chandos, chairman, said: "John has been an invaluable member of the board throughout the past seven years; the Company's recent success and its exciting potential for further growth in the real estate loans and CMBS markets arise from the board's long term vision and direction, to which John has made a great contribution."
