Real  Estate  Investors PLC announces that it has entered  into  a  50/50  joint
venture  arrangement  for  the purchase of a long leasehold  industrial  estate,
adjacent   to  Mitcham  Town  Centre,  upon  which  it  exchanged  unconditional
contracts,  yesterday.  The  estate extends to 1.1 acres  and  comprises  40,904
square  feet of industrial accommodation and modern business space. The fourteen
units produce an annual income of £201,000.

The consideration for the 999 years leasehold interest is £2,400,000, which will
be paid in cash at completion.
