The Real Good Food Company plc ("the Company"), owns the largest independent non-refining distributor of sugar in Europe (Napier Brown), supplies bakery ingredients (Renshaw) and manufactures patisserie and desserts (Haydens Bakery)

The Company announces that it received notification today, that on 15 May 2012, Omnicane International Investment Co Ltd ("Omnicane"), a subsidiary of Omnicane Limited, was interested in 9,110,802 ordinary shares of 2 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), representing approximately 14.01 per cent. of the current issued share capital of the Company.

This notification is in respect of an increase in Omnicane's interest in Ordinary Shares as a result of a purchase of Ordinary Shares, which prior to the notifiable event was 8,434,321Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 12.97 per cent. of the current issued share capital of the Company.
