Board Announcement

After 16 years of service, Peter Harf has informed the board of directors of Reckitt Benckiser Group plc (the "Board") of his intention to step down from the Board with immediate effect, in order to allow him to spend more time at JAB and its portfolio of companies

Peter Harf commented:

"It has been a pleasure to work with RB.  I am very confident that it will continue to be highly successful. It is a phenomenal company and JAB intends to keep the large majority of its stake in RB as a long-term strategic investment."

Adrian Bellamy chairman commented:

"Peter has been a highly valued member of our Board since the merger of Reckitt & Colman and Benckiser, and indeed before the merger as Chairman of Benckiser. We are sad to see him go. We will miss his wisdom and experience but wish him well as he spends more time with JAB. I would also personally like to thank Peter for all of his hard work in helping RB become the successful global organisation that it is today. "
